Pastor Travis T. Haynes

Pastor Travis T. Haynes affectionately known as Pastor Trav, is a dynamic leader, preacher, and musician whose ministry has impacted lives across generations and around the world. Gifted as a lyricist and composer, his music and message bridge classic gospel with a modern perspective, bringing healing, deliverance, and transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit.

He began preaching at the age of 13, was licensed at 16, and ordained at 17. In 2005, he was appointed Senior Pastor of St. Matthew Church of Christ, where he led the successful “Rebuilding the Walls” campaign that revitalized the church both physically and spiritually. Under his leadership, the church grew into Nation of Wells Church, where he established impactful ministries that blessed both the congregation and community.

His evangelistic call has taken him beyond the U.S. to Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago, where he has witnessed miracles, healing, and deliverance. In June 2022, Pastor Haynes was appointed to shepherd Friendship Baptist Church Worldwide, with his installation following in September 2022. Since then, he has led significant renovations, strengthened ministries, advanced media and outreach efforts, and overseen a mass baptism where more than 30 souls dedicated their lives to Christ.

With over 20 years of pastoral experience, Pastor Haynes is also active in community leadership, serving with the North Shore NAACP, the Manhasset E.O.C. Board, and as a chaplain at North Shore University Hospital. Academically, he earned his Associate’s degree with distinction in 2018 and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, graduating cum laude in 2020.

Affectionately known as Pastor Trav or PT, he is dedicated to advancing the Kingdom through preaching, teaching, prayer, and service. His driving belief remains: “The best is yet to come!”
